How can I manage duplicate RSVPs?

When the Guest Management system detects a potential duplicate RSVP, there is a little red warning icon next to the potential duplicates in your Collected RSVP list. Underneath the duplicate name, there is a link "See Potential Duplicates". Please click this link to filter your "Collected RSVPs" report.

To resolve the duplicates, we encourage you to simply delete the older RSVP and go with the most-recent RSVP.  Click the "View" link for the older RSVP response and then you can click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the editing panel. Once you go through your "Collected RSVPs" and remove all the duplicates, your totals at the top of the report will be accurate.

For more context, Riley & Grey intentionally keeps the RSVP form up so that guests can edit their answers if needed. If you find that you are getting many duplicate RSVPs, we recommend adding a little note at the bottom of the RSVP using the "custom section" of the RSVP form. You might write something like: "You will only need to submit this form once, unless you need to change your response. Thank you for RSVP'ing!".
