Are email addresses for guests required to use Riley & Grey?

Email addresses are NOT required to use our Riley & Grey guest management system and RSVP. By default, Riley & Grey accounts start out using the "Simple Mode" of Guest Management. This mode means you do not need to define a Guest List at all. Essentially, anyone who visits your website can RSVP. You can optionally put up a password on your website that will require that guests know the password and enter it before gaining access. In this mode, no email addresses necessary.

If you want more control over who can RSVP, who they can bring, what events they are and are not invited to and therefore RSVP to, etc. you can opt into the "Advanced Mode" of Guest Management. In this mode, you will create a Guest List and only those guests can identify themselves and access your website. Guests then will only see the events they are invited to on your Schedule page and your RSVP page. Events the guest is not invited to will not appear for them. Guests can log into your wedding website using their names, rather than their email addresses, and so email addresses are optional and not required.
